Once home to Royalty and then left neglected for almost 200 years, the romantic gardens of Sudeley Castle have been lovingly restored to complement the elegance and tranquillity of the castle. Now the home of Lady Ashcombe, the family is committed to the continued preservation of the castle, its treasures and stunning gardens. We also discover majestic Warwick Castle – bursting with tales of treachery, torture, passion and power.
Day One - Home to Alcester
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Alcester, where we’ll check in to the Kings Court Hotel and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Four – Alcester
We’ll have a great time, with three included excursions to enjoy – visit medieval Warwick and discover the majestic castle, explore Sudeley Castle Gardens and call at pretty Broadway and discover Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare. (B,D)
Day Five – Alcester to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

Full Day: Sudeley Castle Gardens and Broadway
Excursion to Sudeley Castle Gardens. Here we take a guided tour through the beautiful gardens, with the majestic castle as a backdrop. We return via the pretty village of Broadway.
Full Day: Warwick and Warwick Castle
Excursion to medieval Warwick, a delightful county town, steeped in history. We go on to Warwick Castle, bursting with tales of treachery and torture, passion and power and with stunning grounds to explore.
Half Day: Stratford-upon-Avon Included
We make the short journey to Stratford-upon-Avon, the town is renowned the world over as the birthplace, and for much of his life, the home of William Shakespeare. Now home to the Royal Shakespeare Company it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. Sights include the playwright’s birthplace and grave and a museum dedicated to Tudor England, The Falstaff Experience.
