Dutch Bulbfields Cruise

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to the lakeside town of Huizen, where we join our ship. Take some time this evening to settle into your cabin, meet your Cruise Director and fellow guests, and enjoy a relaxed overnight stay in port.

After breakfast, disembark and board the coach for our full-day included excursion to the Keukenhof Gardens, with a packed lunch provided to keep you going. Here, you will have plenty of time to explore the 32-hectare site, enjoying themed pavilions and swathes of flowers. While you're exploring, our ship repositions to Lelystad, ready to welcome you back onboard this afternoon, for our overnight berth. During the 1950s, Lelystad was still a seabed, so it’s quite an extraordinary place! This evening, you might choose to explore this lively port at your leisure.

This morning we set sail for Schoonhoven. Sit back and relax on your floating hotel and take in the scenery passing by. We enjoy lunch onboard before reaching Schoonhoven, where you’ll have the afternoon free to explore. Schoonhoven is affectionately known as the Netherlands’ ‘Silver City’, renowned for centuries of silversmithing craftsmanship, pretty gabled houses and a charming historic harbour. We enjoy our final dinner on board whilst berthed overnight in Schoonhoven.

We bid farewell to our captain and crew this morning as we disembark in Schoonhoven for the return journey to the UK.
