|Travel by Coach||Days|
Relax in one of our most popular Scottish resorts, Pitlochry. Explore this stunning area with us, taking in the Perthshire scenery, popular Famous Grouse and beautiful Blair Castle.
Day One: Home to Pitlochry
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Pitlochry, where we’ll check in to the Pitlochry Hydro Hotel and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Four: Pitlochry
We have included two excursions in this tour over the three days in Pitlochy. We will spend a day taking in the scenery of beautiful Loch Tay, travelling via Kenmore and Killin to visit the Famous Grouse Distillery where we enjoy a tour and tasting. Another day will be spent with a trip to Blair Castle, set at the heart of Highland Perthshire and the ancient seat of the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. The other day will be for you to enjoy as free time. One of the quirkier sights in Pitlochry is the fish ladder, built with the dam on the River Tummel to allow Salmon to continue to swim upstream. For something a little more traditional, go to Edradour Distillery to see how traditional Scotch Whiskey is made. (B,D)
Day Five: Pitlochry to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)
