In the year of the 65th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation, join us to explore London’s enchanting array of Royal heritage on our popular midweek break. We will take you to enjoy some of London's unique and magnificent royal residences, including Buckingham Palace, Her Majesty the Queen’s London home. We will also explore Kensington Palace, the Tower of London and Windsor Castle, as well as enjoying a Thames cruise.
Day One - Home to Feltham
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Feltham, where we’ll check in to the St Giles Hotel and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Day Two to Four - Feltham
We explore the Queen’s London residence, Buckingham Palace, the centre of state occasions and royal hospitality, following that we will visit Kensington Palace. We will enjoy a trip to the Tower of London and an opportunity to view the Crown Jewells before rounding off the day with a cruise down the Thames. Finally, we make our way to magnificent Windsor Castle which will have the eyes of the world on it in May as Prince Harry marries Meghan Markle. (B,D)
Day Five - Feltham to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home.
St Giles Hotel
Located within walking distance of the High Street, with plenty of well-known shops and restaurants, The St Giles Hotel is a welcoming property boasting IL Grasso Restaurant & Bar, a gym, and en suite guest rooms. Rooms feature soundproof windows, a flat screen TV and a coffee maker. The hotel is conveniently located opposite Feltham train station, with Central London, Windsor and Kew Gardens both 25 minutes away by train in either direction, Twickenham is just over 10 minutes away, also by train.
Full Day: Buckingham Palace And Kensington Palace
A Royal day out today as we visit the magnificent State Rooms at Buckingham Palace, London residence of Her Majesty the Queen, which are lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection. We continue with a visit to Kensington Palace, the official London residence of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge and the latest Royal additions, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Full Day: Tower of London and Thames Cruise
Visit to the Tower of London, home to almost 1000 years’ worth of history and dozens of monarchs over that time, as well as the dazzling Crown Jewels, the Royal Armouries and the execution site of three English Queens. We then take a wonderful cruise along the River Thames taking in the iconic buildings of london such as St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the London Eye and the Shard.
Half Day: Windsor Castle
Join us on an excellent trip to Windsor Castle, the largest occupied castle in the world. Visitors can see the stunning State Apartments and St. George's Chapel, the burial place of ten sovereigns and setting of many Royal weddings of the past, and the location scheduled to host the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in May 2018.
