Day One: Home to Harrogate
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Harrogate, where we’ll check in to The St George and will enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Four: Harrogate
We’ll have a great time, with two included excursions to enjoy – to historic York and pretty Knaresborough. We’ll also attend two exhilarating performances of the Gilbert & Sullivan Festivals, an insightful talk from a member of the Gilbert & Sullivan team and you’ll have the chance to fully immerse yourself in the festival as it takes over the town. Day Five: Harrogate to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

Head out of Harrogate and you can easily discover the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales which begin nearby, villages such as Malham and Grassington have a classic beauty and the rolling green hills in between are characteristic for their drystone walls and abundant livestock.
Fantastic cities are also in easy reach with cosmopolitan Leeds and historic York both great nearby options for a day trip.
Full Day: York
This most historical city, dating back to Roman times, is bursting with history, medieval character and architectural masterpieces which are dominated by the magnificent Minster. In the tangle of quaint cobbled streets you will find a fantastic mix of designer stores, high street shops and independent boutiques as well as traditional tea shops and cafés. Alternatively you could choose to visit one of the many heritage attractions in the city – as well as the iconic Minster you could spend your time in the Jorvik Viking Centre or the world class National Railway Museum.
Gilbert And Sullivan Festival
Experience the 25th International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in the elegant Yorkshire town of Harrogate. Your break includes two exhilarating festival performances at the Royal Hall, an insightful talk from a member of the festival team, plus the chance to fully immerse yourself in this wonderful event from our centrally located hotel.
Half Day: Knaresborough
