Itinerary

Day One - Home to Dublin
We make our way to Holyhead and join the ferry over to Ireland, going on to our overnight hotel. (D)

Day Two - Dublin to Galway
We continue our journey to Galway, calling at the town of Athlone and admiring beautiful Lough Ree along the way. Upon arrival in Galway, we will enjoy an evening meal at the Flannery’s Hotel, where we’ll stay for the next four nights. (B,D)

Day Three - The Aran Islands
Enjoy a highlight of our holiday today as we explore the Aran Islands. We sail from Doolin and make our way to Inis Oirr, the smallest of the Aran Islands. You will have free time to explore and take in the cultural experience of what is one of the few remaining Gaelic-speaking parts of Ireland. On our return to the mainland, we sail under the magnificent Cliffs of Moher, giving us a unique view of this most spectacular sight. (B,D)

Day Four - At leisure in Galway
Spend the day discovering Galway from our centrally-located hotel. Why not take in sights such as the Spanish Arch, Galway Cathedral or Eyre Square? (B,D)

Day Five - Connemara National Park
Discover the splendid Connemara National Park, as we enjoy a scenic drive through the heart of this incredible countryside. Admire Ireland’s only fjord, Killary Harbour, and then explore the village of Leenane, famous for its wonderful surrounding landscape. Then it comes time to continue our journey to Clifden, a charming rural town, before passing through Maam Cross as we travel back to our hotel. (B,D)

Day Six - Galway to Dublin
We say goodbye to Galway today and return to Dublin, enjoying a comfortable stay at an overnight hotel. (B,D)

Day Seven - Dublin to Home
We depart this morning and make our way home. (B)

Visit the charming town of Athlone as we travel, and spend a short time taking in sights such as the Church of Saints Peter and Paul or Athlone Castle, or visit its bustling town centre. We will also pass by Lough Ree as we travel, the second-largest lake on the River Shannon.

Full Day: Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher Cruise

Full Day: Connemara National Park

Join us as we discover the beautiful Connemara National Park, one of six national parks in the Republic of Ireland that is known for its beautiful landscape. Take in its mountain scenery, grasslands and forests with us as we discover the only fjord in Ireland - Killary Harbour. After this, we stop at the village of Leenane, located on the shores of Killary Harbour. 

We then begin our return journey, making our way through the town of Clifden and admiring its rural atmosphere, and travelling through Maam Cross.
