The delightful resort of Eastbourne enjoys a glorious location, sheltered by the rolling South Downs. With its flowering promenades, lines of colourful deckchairs and inviting beaches, there’s a definite air of quality.
Day One - Home to Eastbourne
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Eastbourne, where we’ll check in to the Bay Burlington Hotel and enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two - Three
We spend two days in Eastbourne with an included excursion to discover the towns of Worthing and Arundel.
Worthing is known for its temperate climate and its pier, prom and seaside parks. Moving on to Arundel you will have free time to discover this historic town with its huge Gothic cathedral and medieval castle.
Spend the rest of your time exploring Eastbourne, a highlight is the nearby South Downs Way which starts to the west of the town and carries on to the impressive cliffs at Beachy Head and beyond. (B,D)
Day Four – Eastbourne to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

The world-famous Carpet Gardens, Redoubt Fortress and Eastbourne Pier are all just a stone’s throw away and the town centre with an array of shops and restaurants are just a 10 minute walk away.
The South Downs National Park begins just outside of town and is easily accessible and even by walking you can easily reach Beachy Head and a little further along the coast, The Seven Sisters. Fashionable Brighton is on the other end of a scenic train ride through the park and here you can see famous sights such as the fashionable Royal Pavilion or enjoy independent shops in The Lanes area of the city.
The hotel has great spaces for relaxing after a busy day in the area, the on-site bar and coffee lounge have huge windows opening out onto the seafront, great for watching the world go by.
