This Holiday is Great For
Day One: Home to Portpatrick
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Portpatrick, where we’ll check in to The Portpatrick and enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two to Four: In and around Portpatrick
We have included two excursions over the three days we will spend in Portpatrick. First, a Scenic drive through some of the quaint villages of Galloway to Stranraer, a pretty port town, famous for its unusually mild climate. We will also take an Excursion along the Ayrshire Coast to reach Ayr, a popular town with many fine buildings in the heart of Robbie Burns Country. The other day will be free for you to enjoy at your leisure. The former fishing village of Portpatrick has a number of ruins which fit so well with the wild landscape and seeing these is certainly a highlight of the town. Dunskey Castle and St Patrick’s Church are the best examples of these shells of former glories. (B,D)
Day Five: Portpatrick to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)
