Spend Christmas in the stunning coastal town of Rosas, located on the Costa Brava and boasting wonderful views of this picturesque destination. We’ll have an excellent time during our holiday, from relaxing at our hotel to taking a trip to Barcelona, enjoying a scenic drive and exploring the charming town of Figueres.
Rosas is a superb place to stay for a Christmas holiday - not only will we get to enjoy some winter sun, we’ll also be able to celebrate at the most wonderful time of year in a stunning destination.
As well as enjoying our hotel’s facilities, exploring Rosas at leisure and relaxing on the beach, we’ll also have some exciting excursions to look forward to. We’ll take a trip to the charming town of Cadaques, famous for its coastline and for being a popular summer retreat for Salvador Dali and Picasso.
Our next excursion will see us travelling to nearby Barcelona, famous for its vibrant culture and amazing Gaudi architecture. Explore at leisure to discover this city’s many attractions, from the as-yet-unfinished Sagrada Familia to the city’s elegant gothic quarter.
On Christmas Day, we’ll celebrate this special day at our hotel with our fellow guests, enjoying a Christmas lunch. We can spend the day as we wish, and then on Boxing Day we’ll be treated to an excursion to nearby Figueres to explore this fascinating town.

Day One - UK to Orleans
We’ll make our way from the UK to Orleans, via Calais, and will spend the night at a comfortable hotel.
Day Two - Orleans to Rosas
In the morning, we’ll continue our journey into Rosas, where we’ll stay at our hotel for the next five nights to enjoy a wonderful Christmas away. (B,D)
Days Three to Six - Rosas
We’ll make the most of an excellent holiday in Spain over the next four days, with a trip to the scenic town of Cadaques, an excursion to the superb city of Barcelona, and time spent in Figueres to look forward to. Not only this, we’ll also celebrate at our hotel with a sumptuous Christmas lunch on Christmas Day. (B,D)
Day Seven - Rosas to Paris
It’s time to say goodbye to Rosas today, as we make our way to Paris to our overnight hotel. (B)
Day Eight - Paris to UK
We’ll return to the UK today, travelling from Paris via Calais and then continuing home. (B)
Hotel Coral Platja
The Hotel Coral Platja has a fantastic location right on the beach and only a short stroll from the centre of Roses. The hotel offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and a lovely terrace to enjoy an evening drink listening to the sound of the waves.

Join us as we make our way to Figueres. This historical town is famous for being artist Salvador Dali's birthplace, and we can find the fascinating Dali museum in the town centre. Explore Figueres as leisure, admiring Sant Ferran Castle, the charming narrow streets, and the bustling central boulevard.
Full Day: Barcelona
Barcelona is the fourth most visited in city in Europe and is a lively and exciting place to discover. Especially remarkable is the work of architect Antoni Gaudí, which can be seen throughout the city. His best-known work is the unfinished church of the Sagrada Família, which has been under construction since 1882.
Half Day: Cadaques
Join us as we make our way to the small fishing town of Cadaques. This little town could only be visited by boat in its early years, and with its crystal-clear waters, Cadaques is a stunning sight. It sits right on the edge of the Cap de Creus Peninsula, where the Pyrenees Mountains meet the sea.
Cadaques was also a popular summer destination for the artists Salvador Dali and Picasso, who fell in love with the town's beautiful coastline. Spend time exploring Cadaques during our time here - why not go shopping in the town centre, or simply admire the beautiful scenery?
Barcelona Sightseeing Tour
Discover some of Barcelona’s very best attractions and landmarks during our exciting sightseeing tour, so you can see more of this incredible city. Drive through the city and learn more about the Catalonian capital’s interesting history while admiring its beautiful sights. From Gaudi’s famous architecture to the city’s bustling shopping districts and historical attractions, we’ll get to explore further with our sightseeing tour.
Half Day: Besalu
Enjoy an exciting excursion to explore the nearby town of Besalu, a historical national property since 1966. Here, we’ll find amazing medieval cobbled streets and facades, as well as the well-known 12th-century Romanesque bridge over the Fluvia River.
