Day One: UK to Chateau de Montvillargenne
We drive through the UK and cross the channel to Calais before continuing to our Chateau. (D)
Day Two: Chateau and Senlis
We allow some free time this morning to enjoy your stunning surroundings. Explore the chateau and its grounds, and maybe use the leisure facilities. In the afternoon we include an excursion to nearby Senlis, an attractive medieval town with winding cobbled streets. Visit the magnificent cathedral or why not enjoy a horse carriage ride around the centre. (B,D)
Day Three: Chantilly
We make the short journey to Chantilly, famous for its Chateau, but also for Chantilly cream and Chantilly lace. The charming Old Town is packed full of shops and restaurants. You will have the option of visiting the Chateau which overlooks Chantilly racecourse and surrounded by magnificent grounds and gardens. (B,D)
Day Four: Paris and Montparnasse Tower
Today we visit the magnificent city of Paris where you will have some free time to explore and visit your favourite sights. We have included a superb visit to Montparnasse Tower where we will enjoy a glass of champagne and nibbles whilst enjoying the 360 degree view of Paris. (B,D)
Day Five: Return home
We retrace our steps to Calais and make our return crossing before continuing our journey home. (B)
Chateau de Montvillargenne
Located in the heart of the beautiful forest of Chantilly and set in 15 acres of parkland, the magnificent Chateau de Montvillargenne was once the home of the legendary Rothschild family.
Full Day: Chantilly
Enjoy a day in delightful Chantilly, just a short drive from Château de Montvillargenne. The quant town is famous for its long association with equestrianism as well as giving its name to Chantilly cream and to Chantilly lace.
Full Day: Paris
Enjoy a visit to Paris with an included guided city tour. Together we will explore the wonderful French capital with an endless list of sights including the iconic Eiffel Tower; Champs Elysees lined with exclusive designer- shops; Notre Dame on Ile de la Cite; the grandiose Arc de Triomphe linking twelve wide avenues, and admire the talented street artists of Montmartre.
Half Day: Senlis
An attractive medieval town. Walk its winding cobblestone streets and you’ll be taken back in time to France of old!
Chateau De Chantilly
Surrounded by a 115 hectare park which includes 25 hectares of water gardens and large formal gardens. There are two buildings, the Petit Château and the Grand Château, the latter of which contains the Musée Condé, one of the oldest collections of historic art in France.
Paris Guided Tour And River Seine Cruise
While we’re in Paris, we’ll be offered the opportunity of seeing the city from an entirely different perspective by going on a guided coach tour, or a river cruise down the Seine. This will take us past some of Paris’ most well-known attractions, while also giving us a bit more information about them so we can learn everything there is to know during our stay.
