Days Three to Five: Edinburgh
Over the next three days we will have an opportunity to enjoy the very best that the city of Edinburgh has to offer on two excursions.

We take a short trip into the city with time to explore a little and including entrance to Edinburgh Castle. The castle was a former royal fortress located on one of the highest points of the city and you will learn about the castle’s more than 1000 years of continuous history.

We will also make the trip into the city on another day during which you will have free time to discover the city at leisure. While here stroll along the beautiful Royal Mile, or hit the shops on Princes Street.

You will also have a day of free time to explore at leisure. From our hotel it is just a short walk to Haymarket station, from here it is a short train ride to the city of Glasgow. Glasgow has seen significant and impressive regeneration in recent years, particularly the area along the bank of the River Clyde where a number of great bars and restaurants have recently opened up.  (B,D)
