The Hotel Plankenhof is a charming property, listed as a Gothic house since 1460 and run by the Enzenberg family for eleven generations. Guests are assured of a warm welcome here and will be tempted to try the traditional schnapps, distilled on site.
Full day: Kitzbuhl Alps
Enjoy our scenic tour around the beautiful Kitzbuhl Alps region, where we will call at the pretty town of Kitzbuhl. Back at our hotel, we’ll end the afternoon with a talk and tasting from our host, Michel, trying some of the Schapps traditionally made here.
Full Day: Winter Pinzgau Railway
Today we’ll enjoy a wonderful seasonal carriage ride, to take in some of the fantastic winter views around us, as well as taking a trip on the Pinzgau Railway from Mittersill to Krimml. We’ll then enjoy dinner locally before returning back to our hotel.
Full Day Innsbruck And Stubai Railway
A wonderful day lies ahead as we visit beautiful Innsbruck, the capital of the Tyrol. Learn more about the city’s history on our guided tour, then have time to explore. Why not try some of the tasty treats here, such as the famous cakes at the Café Sacher or the tasty cured meats at the Speckerei? We’ll go on to take a journey on the Stubai Valley Railway, for chance to sit back, relax and let the stunning surrounding scenery pass you by.
Full Day Rattenberg And Lake Achensee
Visit the charming little town of Rattenberg, where you can stroll down the historic main street, under the watchful eye of the old fortess above. Maybe you will enjoy cake and coffee at one of the welcoming cafes, or browse some of the colourful glass shops, for which Rattenberg is fanous. We’ll go on to see the views around Lake Achensee, calling at pretty Pertisau.
