Day One: UK to Funchal
Fly from the UK to Funchal, where you will be transferred to your chosen hotel for a seven-night stay.

Days Two to Seven: Funchal
Relax in beautiful Funchal, exploring this wonderful location at leisure. Discover the Old Centre, with its port and promenade, quaint and narrow winding streets that are bursting
with cafes and restaurants. The cathedral, theatre and waterfront are all must-sees, which the Madeira Story Centre is well-worth a visit. (B)

Day Eight: Funchal to UK
Transfer back to the airport for your return flight to the UK. (B)

Nun's Valley

We’ll make our way to Pico dos Barcelos, where we can take in wonderful views over the valley of Funchal, and will then continue to Eira do Serrado. From here, we can marvel at the valley of Curral das Freiras (Nun’s Valley), along with some of Madeira’s highest mountains. Our journey will then take us to Curral das Freiras, where we may get the opportunity to sample some local cherry liqueur, known as ginja.
