    Cesky Krumlov
    Cesky Krumlov

Join us for our full day excursion to this romantic medieval town. In 1992 Cesky Krumlov was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, the town is situated on the Vltava River and is famous for its Baroque buildings, spectacular castle and old-town square. The town's appearance has changed little since the 18th century. During our guided walking tour we head to the Old Town and the Main Square - lined with quaint little restaurants and cafes. We continue along Horni Street to Jesuit College, now the Hotel Ruze, from here we enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the city. We then head along Kostelni and Siroka Street marvelling at the beautiful architecture before heading to our local traditional Czech restaurant for lunch.

Following lunch we head to the nearby impressive castle. We see the original Castle interiors from the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Our tour starts at IIIrd Courtyard and heads to St. George's Castle Chapel before continuing to Rosenberg Hall with its Renaissance style interior including original wall paintings and wooden panel ceilings from the second half of the 16th century. We then head to the Schwarzenberg Baroque Suite dating from the 18th century furnished with original pieces. The suite consists of the Entry Room, Eggenberg Hall with the Golden Carriage, a private Chapel and Changing Room. We conclude the tour at the beautiful Rococo Masquerade Hall.
