Day One – Home to Stratford-upon-Avon
We’ll make our way from the interchange to Stratford-upon-Avon, where we’ll check in to The Charlecote Pheasant and enjoy an evening meal. (D)
Days Two – Four – in and around Stratford-upon-Avon
We spend the next three days at the Charlcote Pheasant hotel in a beautiful village just outside of Stratford-upon-Avon, with three included excursions to enjoy.
We visit the nearby historic Tudor town of Stratford, one of the most popular tourist destinations in country due to its association with William Shakespeare. We also visit the Georgian town of Leamington Spa, where you will be able to see a number of beautiful Regency buildings and xplore the boutique shops on the town's pretty high street.
In free time discover Charlecote Park, across the main road from our hotel and containing beautiful gardens and an elegant and imposing Tudor house. (B,D)
Day Five – Stratford-upon-Avon to Home
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)

Charlecote Pheasant Hotel
The Charlecote Pheasant is the perfect base for exploring this historic region around the West Midlands. The hotel is set in an old farmhouse amid beautiful gardens and amazing countryside meaning you will be in quaint and pleasant surroundings throughout your stay.
Charlecote Park is just across the road from the hotel and the National Trust property is a great place to simply wander around looking out for one of the many deer who call the park their home. Beautiful villages surround the hotel with fabulous country pubs and small tea rooms such as Hampton Lucy and Wellesbourne which are perfect to explore on a sunny day.
Travelling a little further afield you can visit the historic towns of Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick. Stratford-upon-Avon is just less than 20 minutes away by bus or car and was the birthplace of William Shakespeare and a traditional Tudor town where there are a number of attractions concerning the era. Warwick Castle is a great place to learn about medieval history and is just less than a 15 minute drive or half an hour bus ride away.
The hotel is a historic farmhouse with a beautiful courtyard with outside seating. Stroll around the grounds or enjoy a game of tennis at the onsite court. The hotel’s restaurant is a stylish venue serving tasty breakfast and evening meals, after which you can enjoy a delicious tipple from our gin-parlour menu in the cosy lounge.
Trip to Stratford-upon-Avon
Trip to the riverside town of Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare. Explore the historic streets of this market town or you may choose to visit one of the many Shakespeare attractions.
Trip to Warwick
Excursion to the beautiful, medieval town of Warwick, county town of Warwickshire and home to the famous majestic castle. Enjoy free time to take a stroll along the bustling streets which are steeped in history.
En Route: Leamington Spa
Call at the elegant town of Royal Leamington Spa. Famous for its wonderful waters and the Royal Pump Rooms and Baths, as well as for its attractive Georgian and Victorian architecture, there’s plenty to discover here.
