Today we have a full day in historic Antwerp, renowned across the world for its fashion sector and the main trading city of diamonds with 70% of all diamonds traded here. It is home to beautiful cobbled streets leading to the main market square which houses the impressive Cathedral of our Lady, as well as superb museums and attractions.
We travel to Zundert today to watch the stunning flower parade which was founded in 1936. Be amazed by the floats passing by along with marching bands and street entertainers as this small Dutch village comes alive for one weekend. Around 8 million dahlias are needed for all the floats. Of these, around 6 million are cultivated in Zundert itself.
We depart our hotel after breakfast and return home.
