Join us for a nostalgic train ride in Brontë Country with a visit to Haworth, then take to the tracks, crossing the Pennine Moors from Skipton to Appleby. Trundle across the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle & Carlisle Railway Line, even staying in a landmark Victorian railway hotel to complete our rail theme.

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to the Midland Hotel, Bradford for four nights. The Midland Hotel was built between 1885 and 1890 by the Midland Railway Company and is one of the few remaining authentic railway hotels.
We make our way to Keighley for a ride on the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway. It's nostalgia all the way through landscapes familiar from the Railway Children movie. In Haworth there is time to explore a town with Bronte connections and charming cobbled main street.
Explore your local surroundings or perhaps join our optional excursion to York, one of the great railway cities and home of the National Railway Museum, the greatest collection of trains and railway memorabilia in the world.

Take to the tracks again as we travel along the Settle-Carlisle Line from Skipton to Appleby. Sit back and relax, admiring the vast moorlands and trundle over the 24 arches of the Ribblehead Viaduct over 100 feet above the valley. At Appleby we alight and continue into the nearby Lake District before returning to Yorkshire.
