ABOUT THE TOUR
Enjoy a superb stay at Warner's Holme Lacy House, set in gorgeous landscapes gardens in the Wye Valley. Elegant and sophisticated, this historic, Grade I listed mansion features comfortable rooms, a stylish restaurant and an indoor swimming pool. From here, we'll enjoy a scenic tour along the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley, an area of natural beauty, straddling the border between England and Wales, before visiting the historic town of Worcester.

Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Holme Lacy House in Herefordshire for a four-night stay.

Day 2: Wye Valley and Forest of Dean
Enjoy a scenic tour along the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. We include a visit to pretty Ross-on-Wye where you can browse the independent shops, saunter alongside the town's 19th century mock-Gothic walls and admire the pastel-painted buildings.
We continue to the historic town of Monmouth, the UK's first official Bee Town and we'll also get a chance to admire the scenery from Symonds Yat Viewpoint.

Day 3: Day at leisure or optional to Hereford
Day at leisure to relax and perhaps make the most of the activities and entertainment on offer at Warner, with a day at leisure to fully enjoy their programme*. Why not enjoy the leisure facilities or simply admire the gardens and lake views from the welcoming terrace?
Alternatively, why not join our optional excursion to nearby town of Hereford. Have free time to explore this historic town, home to a magnificent cathedral.

Today we’ll visit the historic town of Worcester, built on the banks of the River Severn, with its magnificent 11th century castle at its heart.
Proudly independent and tastefully historic, the town has plenty to discover from the beautiful cathedral to the independent boutiques and the charming 'Cardinal's Hat' pub which dates back to the 14th century.

Return home.
