Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Windermere Hotel for three nights. We enjoy a tea, coffee or mulled wine with a festive treat on arrival to get us into the spirit of the season.
Today starts with a visit to the pretty town of Ambleside, home to plenty of quaint shops and cosy cafés. From here, we’ll embark on a cruise along the waters of Lake Windermere, taking in the breathtaking scenery whilst enjoying a mulled wine and mince pie. Departing at Bowness-on-Windermere, you’ll have some free time to explore this charming town.
We return back to the hotel in time for our Christmas dinner, complete with a complimentary glass of wine.
