We then visit Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens – a splendid garden filled with rare and exotic plants from all over the world! The Sunken Garden and nature trail are worth exploring, or alternatively you can enjoy a cup of tea in the colonial style teahouse!
Journey through some of the local villages, places of interest and spectacular scenery associated with Lawrence of Arabia. He spent his final years in Dorset and lies at Moreton cemetery and was a controversial and enigmatic hero of the First World War.
Relax in Weymouth and explore at your own pace.
Today we will visit the Isle of Purbeck, passing through quaint Corfe Castle to reach seaside Swanage. Discover a lovely, sandy beach and lots of attractions, such as the Swanage Museum which tells the story of the area from the Jurassic period to WWII.
Return home.
You will stay for seven nights at the Royal Hotel in Weymouth.
