Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to Belgium for an overnight stay.
We continue southwards through Bavaria and into Austria, reaching Westendorf in time for dinner this evening.
Enjoy charming Westendorf. Our hotel is at the heart of this lovely town, with shops and cafés nearby. In your free time you could also take one of the local cable cars up to enjoy the views or a mountain top walk.
We visit Innsbruck, overlooked by the Karwendel Alps, where sights include the famous Golden Roof. Explore some of the city’s sights, such as Hofburg Palace, the Old Town and bustling Maria Theresien Strasse. We’ll also call at pretty Rattenberg, famous for its glass blowing heritage.
After a morning at leisure, join our optional excursion to the largest alpine lake in the Tyrol, Lake Achensee. Known as the ‘Fjord of the Alps’.
Achensee is a natural beauty spot, with its eye-catching water colours ranging from emerald green to ultramarine, alongside its mountain scenery, it’s easy to see why it is such a popular destination. Whilst here you can enjoy a cruise on the lake (payable locally). It is a great way to be able to relax and enjoy the scenery.
with an extra experience
This optional excursion is available to pre-book or you can book during your tour.
We make our way to Belgium for our final overnight.
Return home.
Our team (based right here in the UK) will be more than happy to talk you through things - just give us a buzz!
You will stay for six nights at the Post Hotel in Westendorf, a family-run hotel in the centre of town. The hotel features a bar and a restaurant and is surrounded by a pretty terrace and garden.
Overnight stays in Belgium will be in city-style hotels.

The Holiday was lovely, but didn't think much of the Hotel Post, poor choice of menu & we couldn't even get a jug of water on the table unless we bought a alcoholic drink. Our two coach drivers Dave & John were great Guys .

Shearings was a great company to go with. My first time with them. Accommodation was excellent. The drivers were knowledgeable and the excursions good value for money. I will certainly travel with them again.
