Local departure by coach, then via ferry on to Isle of Wight and our hotel for four nights.
Today we’ll explore the ‘diamond isle’ on a scenic tour. We’ll call at Alum Bay, famous for its coloured sands, and the nearby magnificent chalks Needles, the remains of a ridge which once joined the island the mainland. We also visit pretty Yarmouth, a bustling town with a natural harbour. We also visit Yarmouth, filled with a range of quaint cafes, shop and galleries and the main square is overlooked by a stunning 17th century church. Stroll down Yarmouth Pier and enjoy the stunning view.
Relax in Sandown, or join our optional excursion to pretty Godshill. This quintessential village is postcard-perfect with thatched cottages clustered around a typical English church and winding street lined with traditional tearooms.
