Get away during the period in between Christmas and New Year, known as Twixmas, to the stunning coastal resort of Ostend. With an attractive promenade, gorgeous sandy beach and abundance of shops, this cosmopolitan port city has plenty to keep you entertained. We enjoy a fantastic excursion to beautiful Bruges, experiencing the spectacular Winter Glow event and soaking up the festive atmosphere, and also discover the picturesque city of Ghent, where you can explore historic sights or wander the quayside of Graslei.

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to our hotel in Ostend.
Spend the morning at leisure in Ostend. Soak up the festive atmosphere as you wander along the gorgeous promenade, relax on the sandy beach or browse the fantastic shops.
This afternoon we visit beautiful Bruges, staying until after dark to enjoy the Winter Glow event which includes a spectacular light experience trail and the enchanting Christmas markets.
Today we visit Ghent, taking in the festive atmosphere from the magical Christmas markets and decoration-lined streets. Wander the quayside at Graslei and relax in one of the many cafés along the scenic waterway, or explore famous historic attractions such as Castle of the Counts or St. Bavo’s Cathedral – home to the spectacular Ghent Altarpiece.
We depart our hotel after breakfast and return home.
