Today, we visit beautiful Lake Windermere. Our first stop is Bowness, a popular lakeside town where you can soak up the lakeside views and enjoy a wander around the quirky shops. We then travel to the north of the lake to Ambleside, where you can take a stroll on the high street or enjoy a coffee and cake in one of its many cafés.
Enjoy a day at leisure to relax and explore beautiful Kendal.
Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Penrith. This busy Cumbrian market town has a wealth of specialised shops and cosy pubs. It also has many quaint tea rooms to enjoy a hot drink or grab some lunch.
