Today, you travel to the St. Nicholas Christmas Fayre in York. Set in the historic centre with its famous shopping area known as 'The Shambles', this annual Christmas Fayre has continued since medieval times. The city comes alive with Victorian-costumed traders, carol singers and delicious smells of roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate laced with brandy.
Today, you have a free day to explore Harrogate. This beautiful spa town is known for its historic architecture, wide boulevards and gardens. Discover the Royal Pump Room museum or stop for afternoon tea in the famous Bettys Tea rooms.
Tonight, we enjoy our 'Christmas Dinner' at the hotel.
Today, you get to enjoy the Leeds Christkindelmarket. A little piece of Germany on Millennium Square in the heart of Leeds, over 100 traders from the German city of Frankfurt set up stalls for the annual Christkindelmarket. Browse unique gifts such as hand-crafted jewellery and toys, and savour traditional German delicacies including stollen, bratwurst, gingerbread and Glühwein.
After breakfast, it is time to return home.
