Local departure by coach, then onto to Torquay for a four night stay. You will a "Christmas Eve" inspired celebration, and enjoy a glass of mulled wine before dinner and then Christmas carols with brass band followed by Christmas Show from the inhouse entertainment team.
Today we travel via the beautiful Teign Valley to reach the cathedral city of Exeter. Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans, Exeter has a rich and long history and has a wealth of attractions celebrating this from the imposing Roman wall and Gothic cathedral, to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum.
Stroll along the beautiful Quayside or discover the shops, boutiques and cafes on the cobbled Gandy Street - perfect for a little festive shopping!
Return to the hotel for a "Christmas Day" with a traditional Christmas dinner with coffee and mince pies and then enjoy an evening of entertainment.
Relax in Torquay and explore this popular seaside town at leisure. Alternatively, why not join our optional excursion to the maritime city of Plymouth?
Known as Britain's Ocean City, Plymouth has one of Europe's most vibrant waterfronts and the quaint cobbled streets of the Barbican are filled with history.

This morning we visit the stunning coastal town of Teignmouth. Hugging the shore where the River Teign meets the sea, Teignmouth is a traditional seaside resort with a classic Victorian pier and small fishing port.
Return to the hotel for dinner and entertainment and a "New Year's Eve" celebration complete with a glass of fizz.
Return home.
