This morning we take a trip to Pembroke, a charming walled town with a rich history dating back over 900 years. Pembroke Castle is one of the most complete Norman castles in the UK and was the birthplace of King Henry VII, founder of the Tudor dynasty. Today the pretty town has charming shops and cafes to enjoy alongside its many historic buildings.

We then continue to St Davids, Britain’s smallest cathedral city and named after Wales’ patron saint. The cathedral which gives it its city status is built from local stone with a beautiful pink and grey colouring. Nearby are the ruins of The Bishop’s Palace and there are many other historical buildings throughout the town, as well as quaint shops and cafes.
