ABOUT THE TOUR
Christmas comes early on a Turkey & Tinsel break! Enjoy the festive season twice this year with mulled wine on arrival, Christmas dinner with a complimentary drink, and a festive cream tea one day. Get into the festive spirit in Llandudno, exuding an air of elegance with the landmark Great and Little Ormes on either side.
TOUR INCLUDES
Day 1:
Local departure by coach, then on to Llandudno and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a tea, coffee or mulled wine with a festive treat on arrival to get us into the spirit of the season.

Day 2: Snowdonia and Betws-y-Coed
Today we enjoy a leisurely drive into Snowdonia National Park, taking in the stunning scenery and call at pretty Betws-y-Coed. The town often attracts those looking for outdoor pursuits, and is perfect for ramblers and walkers, but is also a delightful town for those looking for an easier pace. Browse the many shops, enjoy the cafes, or take a gentle stroll to Swallow Falls, admiring the peaceful forest and majestic rapid water. We return back to the hotel in time for our 'Christmas Dinner' complete with a complimentary glass of wine.

Day 3: Day at Leisure or Llangollen
Relax in Llandudno or join our optional excursion to Llangollen, an ancient market town nestled within the beautiful Dee Valley. The town has a wealth of independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Why not take a stroll along the Victoria Promenade, or through Riverside Park? There’s also a charming steam train, perfect for admiring the passing scenery.

Day 4: Anglesey
This morning we cross to the Isle of Anglesey. Located off the north-west coast of the Welsh mainland by the Menai Strait, Anglesey is known for its stunning natural beauty, miles of gorgeous coastline and fascinating historical past. Whilst on Anglesey we will visit the pretty village of Llanfair PG whose full name is the longest place name in Britain. Why not browse the shops at James Pringle Weavers, home to many famous brands. We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.

Day 5:
We depart the hotel this morning full of festive cheer and return home.

You will stay for four nights at the Marine Hotel or County Hotel located in Llandudno.
Occupying a fabulous position on Llandudno’s seafront, the Marine Hotel is a classic Victorian-style hotel, boasting stunning views across the Irish Sea. Just a short walk away is the Llandudno Pier, along with a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and attractions. After a busy day exploring North Wales, enjoy a refreshing swim in the hotel’s indoor poor, or relax with a well-deserved drink in the bar and lounge area. The hotel also has an impressive restaurant, offering a selection of breakfast options and a varied menu for the evening.
