Today we enjoy a trip to the historic city of Exeter. Discover more than 2000 years of history at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum or admire the unique Norman twin towers of the majestic cathedral. Stroll along the beautiful Quayside or discover the shops, boutiques and cafés on the cobbled Gandy Street - perfect to do a little festive shopping! We return back to the hotel in time for our 'Christmas Dinner' complete with a complimentary glass of wine.
Relax in Exmouth, or join our optional excursion to Plymouth, bursting with maritime heritage and modern amenities. Visit the Barbican, Plymouth’s delightful old port, full of narrow cobbled streets, a picturesque harbour and a wealth of independent shops, art galleries, cafés and restaurants.

Day 3: Plymouth

This morning we visit Sidmouth and Seaton, pretty seaside towns with lots of character. Sidmouth, in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, lies on the Jurassic Coast, and the town itself is rich in history, visited by Queen Victoria in her youth. Neighbouring Seaton boasts an equally impressive history and is equally as pretty. We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.
We depart the hotel this morning full of festive cheer and return home.
