Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then onto rural Cumbria and our hotel for four nights. Our hotel is in a remote location, perfect for relaxation, and offers a fantastic festive programme.

Join today's included excursion to explore the natural, scenic beauty of Northern Lakeland with a visit to pretty Keswick on the shores of Derwentwater.
We then visit Grasmere, Cumbria's most popular village thanks to William Wordsworth. With plenty of shops, you’re certain to find a thoughtful gift for a loved one – why not pick up some of the famous gingerbread?

We jaunt into the Lake District again and visit Ambleside at the head of Lake Windermere, bustling with shops and cafés.

Shap Wells Hotel
The Shap Wells Hotel is situated in a secluded, wooded valley, high in the Shap Fells and surrounded by mountain streams, the ideal place from which to explore the Lakes. The hotel has retained many of its original features over the years and much time has been taken to retain the character of the building. The restaurant serves an extensive menu, in keeping with the hotel surroundings and seasons, and the Riverside Lounge & Bar provides the perfect spot to relax with a pre or post dinner drink!
