Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then onto rural Cumbria and our hotel for four nights. Our hotel is in a remote location, perfect for relaxation, and offers a fantastic festive programme.
Join today's included excursion to explore the natural, scenic beauty of Northern Lakeland with a visit to pretty Keswick on the shores of Derwentwater.
We then visit Grasmere, Cumbria's most popular village thanks to William Wordsworth. With plenty of shops, you’re certain to find a thoughtful gift for a loved one – why not pick up some of the famous gingerbread?
We jaunt into the Lake District again and visit Ambleside at the head of Lake Windermere, bustling with shops and cafés.
Afterwards, we will enjoy some free time in Bowness. Take a stroll along the lake or visit The World of Beatrix Potter.
After breakfast, we depart the hotel for the return journey home.
