Lake Maggiore is another of the famous Italian lakes, and is perfect for those who simply cannot get enough of this beautiful scenery. Known for being the second largest of all the lakes in Italy, it is famous for its superb climate which allows a wide assortment of flora to grow.

Take in the breathtaking beauty of Lake Maggiore, and relax by the lakeshore for an entire day. Or, why not enjoy an optional boat cruise towards the Borromean Islands? We visit Isola Bella, which was completely transformed by its occupants, and its palace and gardens (entrance included) are the epitome of opulence and luxury. We also visit Isola dei Pescatori, a complete contrast to Isola Bella, but equally captivating.

Other than the market, the town of Como is a pretty place to walk around in itself, with wonderful old buildings and a beautiful walkway along the water which is dotted with ice cream stalls, from which you can buy a tasty treat!

Join our optional excursion to Milan, known across the world as a major fashion capital. Cosmopolitan, modern and filled with everything expected of a metropolis such as this, Milan is an amazing place to visit.

Aside from its fashion sense, Milan is also known for its grand Gothic cathedral, the UNESCO Santa Maria delle Grazie, – containing Leonardo da Vinci’s magnificent artwork, including The Last Supper – and numerous fascinating museums.
