ABOUT THE TOUR
Torquay, at the very heart of the English Riviera, boasts a mild climate, sparkling blue waters and a palm-lined seafront. A true holiday spot, it offers everything you could want, from traditional attractions to modern bars and restaurants. We enjoy cruises along the Plymouth coastline and the Jurassic Coast too.
TOUR INCLUDES
Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to our hotel in Torquay for four nights.

Day 2: Dartmoor National Park and Plymouth Harbour Cruise
Travel over beautiful Dartmoor National Park to Plymouth, with its combination of heritage and natural beauty.
The city was an important Royal Navy port but there is ongoing waterfront regeneration, turning Plymouth into a must-visit destination, with many attractions, bars and restaurants.
Here we enjoy a delightful harbour cruise learning more about the city's fascinating history. We'll sail across Plymouth Sound, passing Plymouth Hoe and Drakes island as we head for the River Tamar and pull into the NAval Dockyards where might warships and submarines await!

Day 3: Day at leisure or Exeter
Explore Torquay at your own pace and discover its bustling harbour and marina, or why not join our optional excursion to the cathedral city of Exeter, with its cobbled streets and contemporary shopping centre marrying heritage and modernity perfectly.
Pre-dating the arrival of the Romans, Exeter has a long and rich history reflected in its fascinating visitor attractions which include Underground Passages, the beautiful Quayside and the magnificent Cathedral.

Day 4: Exmouth and Jurassic Coast Cruise
Renowned for its glorious seafront, Exmouth is Devon's oldest seaside resort and part of Devon's UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast.
Here we embark on a cruise along the stunning coast, which dates back 250 million years. Famed for the deep red colour of the cliffs, our cruise takes in the oldest section of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and will sail close enough to give you an incredibly detailed view of the rocks before sailing further out to offer you a panoramic perspective to see the coast in all its glory.

The 3-star Devonshire Hotel is an ideal choice to stay on the English Riviera, occupying a 1900's building overlooking the Tor Bay and hotel gardens. The hotel boasts an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal) and a garden terrace to enjoy after a day of sightseeing. All rooms are equipped with a T.V. and tea and coffee making facilities.
The 3-star Abbey Lawns Hotel is on the beautiful English Riviera boasting spectacular views out to the sea. The hotel has an indoor heated pool , spacious sun terrace and a conservatory for guests to relax in. A short stroll will take you into the town centre and down to the sea front.
