Excursion to maritime Plymouth where we visit the historic Barbican and take a delightful harbour cruise. Departing from the Mayflower Steps, this is a relaxing and informative way to see the sights including Plymouth Hoe, Drake's Island and the spectacular views of Mount Edgcumbe.
Back on dry land, we take a trip to Princetown where a delicious cream tea is waiting. As the regional dish of Devon, there are many customs as to how a Devonshire cream tea should be devoured, yet no matter the time or how it's eaten, it's an absolute Devon must!
Relax with a day at leisure in seaside Torquay. The attractions, harbour and shops are only a short stroll away, or perhaps you'd like to follow the Agatha Christie Mile – a walking trail that takes you to some of the places associated with the famous crime author.
Alternatively, why not join our optional excursion to Teignmouth, a pretty Georgian town set against the backdrop of the Dartmoor Hills? With a glorious sandy beach, historic pier and bustling town centre, there is plenty to see and do.

We had a very clean and spacious front facing room on the 1st floor. All the staff were friendly. The breakfast buffet and evening meals were good. The tour to Plymouth with the cruise and cream tea was very nice. A very enjoyable stay at the Torbay hotel.

I was very disappointed in the hotel. It is very much care worn and could do with an extensive refurbishment. Saying that the bedding and towels were clean. What let it down for me was the standard of the food. Not very good. I enjoyed the excursions and the position of the hotel on the seafront was excellent.
