Really good hotel, food, staff, great value,we stayed at the Hydro in Pitlochry in 2001 and it has changed but in a good way.We had a few minor niggles but nothing serious, toilet seat loose and hot tap very stiff which when turned dripped a little bit, dead insects on dining room window frames which we told the manager about and it was sorted, all in all a great break and so easy to get around on the quiet roads, even going south to home was a pleasure for us,we will be back,Thankyou.

The Hotel is in an excellent location, the facilities are great, the food was exceptional and the staff really helpful. Only downside was that our room never got cleaned for the duration of our stay, even when we put the please make up our room sign on the door.

We have been to pitlochry hydro a few times. The staff are always very pleasant. The food was good. We asked for a quiet room, and we were allocated room 10 because of our request. The room had a constant noise like a generator or a fan. Because of this we did not get much sleep. Since shearings changed hands the room choose is less, online can only book a double or single. We would prefer going to to hotels without dogs.there is always dogs barking sometime. I put my dog in the kennel and it has a wee holiday while I’m away. Still good hotel and value for Money I’d say the cook is very good. The food is noticeable better than the last time. All in all a good break for the money.
