Take in the delights of Holland on this idyllic river cruise, staying aboard the 4-star MS Arena. Beginning our journey in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, we set sail to Nijmegen – the oldest city in the Netherlands! We’ll also soak up the spectacular blooms of Keukenhof Gardens and visit historic Rotterdam, where you’ll have the chance to take in the panoramic views from the Euromast Observation Tower.

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then to Amsterdam where we board the MS Arena and enjoy dinner on board.
Disembark after breakfast and board the coach for a full-day excursion to the Keukenhof Gardens. Here you will have plenty of time to explore the 32-hectare site, enjoying themed pavilions and swathes of flowers. Rejoin the ship in Amsterdam and set sail for Arnhem.
Morning optional walking tour of Arnhem. The town was the site of The Battle of Arnhem, one of the largest battles of WWII. The tour will take in key locations including John Frost Bridge and the St. Elizabethgasthuis. Enjoy lunch onboard as we sail toward Nijmegen – the oldest town in the Netherlands on the banks of the Waal River.

Sail to Rotterdam, which is known as ‘Manhattan on the Meuse’ because of its impressive skyline. Why not join our optional afternoon excursion to the Euromast observation tower, where you can see as far as Antwerp on a clear day? We enjoy a final dinner onboard our ship.
