We will explore the stunning countryside inland from here, we travel to Carlisle to journey aboard the Settle-Carlisle railway through the Ribblehead Viaduct and Yorkshire Dales.
We visit the Yorkshire Dales separately as well to visit the town of Sedburgh passing stone walls and buildings through Garsdale to Hawes. In Hawes you will have the chance to enjoy fabulous Wensleydale cheese that the town is famous for.
The other day is for you to enjoy at leisure. Morecambe has a number of great attractions, many centered along the promenade which stretches the seafront and views from here both out to sea and across to the Lake District are fantastic, with sunsets being particularly spectacular. (B,D)
Time to say goodbye today; we depart after breakfast and make our way to the interchange before returning home. (B)
