Day 1:
Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Stirling and the Stirling Highland Hotel for a four-night stay.

Day 2: Edinburgh and the Falkirk Wheel
A short drive takes us to the Falkirk Wheel, one of Scotland’s top attractions. Here, you can take a boat trip to experience the only rotating boat lift in the world, a true engineering masterpiece, to join the Union Canal.
We continue to Edinburgh, where you can explore the Royal Mile, stretching from Holyrood up to Edinburgh’s proud castle, or Grassmarket, a lovely place to spend a couple of hours. Princes Street is retail heaven if you're looking for shopping opportunities, and be sure to visit Jenners, a delightfully traditional old-style department store, or admire the works of art at the Scottish National Gallery.Included meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 3: Day at leisure or Queen's View and Pitlochry
Relax in historic Stirling and enjoy the hotel’s leisure facilities, or join our optional excursion to Queen’s View, a favourite spot of Queen Victoria’s, before visiting the pretty Highland town of Pitlochry.

Day 4: The Trossachs and Loch Katrine Cruise
We travel northwards through Stirlingshire to the Trossachs National Park, known as “The Scottish Highlands in Miniature” to Loch Katrine, where we take a cruise. The beauty of the loch, unfolding in front of us, is what inspired Sir Walter Scott’s poetry. As you travel, the tales and legends of the loch will be narrated by a crew member.
