Loved the location of Hotel, bedroom needed decor attention and a good clean. Overall thought the itinerary for the tour could have been improved ie) Paradise Park was good but too long spent there, Penzance wasn't for us. Nothing to do or see, very tired location nothing for us to do whilst there, too many charity shops and empty buildings. Shame. Also very long coach journeys, due to change overs and stops. Return journey was 15 hours admittedly there was an accident on A12 we got held up on. Thankfully we were all ok and not involved. Would have to serious think if I would do another coach holiday, Shearings staff were very polite, and nice people, coaches clean etc just the journey times really. Tour outings could have been more informative by driver/ guide maybe more chat. Or advice as what to see or do.

Hotel location excellent but otherwise poor a week in army barracks would have been on same level The operation manager needs customer service training and driver not very communitive with his passengers YOUR Paying customers Not the Shearings standard we have had previously over several years Commment sent to customers services by email but would doubt they will be recorded Do not intend to use Shearings again as it has deteriorated in our opinion thank you

Found the Front of House Manager Vicky (if she was) very rude and confrontational. Deeply disappointed that the lift was out of order and having to climb 4/5 flights of stairs to reach my room. Being almost 83 and having walking difficulties I had to make sure I had everything each morning to avoid going up the stairs unnecessarily. Chris the driver was very helpful and polite at all times and tried to cater for everyone's needs.

Had really nice time, met some lovely people and well looked after the Shearing's staff. Trips were both enjoyable and very informative, Would definitely recommend and will be booking again. An all round good value for money holiday.
