    Excursion sailing across the beautiful Isles of Scilly, with pretty St Mary's our destination. Here you'll find a tropical paradise - a lush island made up of white sandy beaches, exotic vegetation and scenery that you will never forget. From Hugh Town going west there is an outcrop dominated by a castle known as The Garrison, with great views over the islands. Otherwise going east there is are great coastal paths. The Isles of Scilly are a haven of peace and tranquility and a real Cornish gem.

    Truro is one of the largest towns in the county; however it is still a relatively small, charming town. Highlights here are the cathedral, a beautiful three spired Gothic Revival design and the Royal Cornwall Museum, which gives a great insight into Cornish life, history and culture. There is also a wide variety of shops here and the Pannier market is open year round with a variety of interesting stalls and small businesses housed inside. There are a number of walking trails that pass St Mawes and follow dramatic coastline, often leading to beautiful beaches and the village in general is a lovely place to spend a couple of hours.

We’ll then call at the charming village of Portreath, historically a mining town it has a beautiful old harbour where lots of little fishing boats leave daily to catch pilchards in the same way they have done for hundreds of years.
