One of the nation's favourite seaside towns, there's a laid back atmosphere here and in the summer the town is a haven for surfers flocking to the magnificent Fistral Beach.

We sail to St Mary's from Penzance, arriving in capital Hugh Town. From St. Mary’s, take the shuttle boat to Tresco Abbey Gardens, where our guide accompanies us on a tour of the beautiful gardens.

Located just 28 miles off the Cornish Coast and home to some 20,000 plants, from more than 80 countries across the world, the planting here flourishes in the unique environment of the beautiful Scilly Isles. There's more here than just blooming flowers - keep a keen eye out for red squirrels and golden pheasants that roam freely, marvel at the sculptures that are dotted through the gardens and admire the haunting memories of shipwrecks in the Valhalla Figurehead Museum.
