A captivating seaside town, Beaumaris is home to a delightful mix of medieval, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian architecture, and has a wealth of history to discover. We venture into Snowdonia National Park today. This is Wales' largest National Park and an area that is steeped in culture, history and fascinating heritage. We head for Llanberis at the foot of Mount Snowdon, where we join the Snowdon Mountain Railway for a trip to the summit. The visitor centre at the top, known as Hafod Eryri, blends into the natural surroundings and you’ll have enough time to reach the actual summit if you wish, or perhaps enjoy a drink before we journey back down the mountainside.

Later in the day we call at the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed. Nestled right in the heart of the park, you’ll find independent shops, outdoor retailers and popular cafés, all surrounded by stunning scenery.
