Shanklin and the Isle of Wight

Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then crossing by ferry to the Isle of Wight and on to our hotel in Shanklin for four nights.

Discover the delights of the ‘Diamond Isle’ on our included scenic sightseeing tour of the island. We will introduce you to many of the popular sights that the island has to offer as we pass Freshwater Bay on the south coast and stop at pretty Yarmouth – a bustling town with a natural harbour.

Relax in Shanklin with a day at leisure. A traditional seaside resort on the south-east coast of the island, uncover the town’s fascinating history or admire the beautiful geological feature of Shanklin Chine.

Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Sandown. Famed for its long stretches of golden beaches, traditional seafront and pier, and great attractions, Sandown makes for a lovely day out. 

Known as the ‘Gateway to the Isle’, Ryde offers miles of glorious sands, an attractive esplanade and beautiful gardens.

One of the UK's original seaside resorts and much-loved by Queen Victoria herself, here you will find spacious stretches of sandy beach, a thriving shopping scene and a quirky mix of seaside fun and Victorian architecture!
