Dracula’s Haunts to Café Jaunts: A Weekend in Scarborough and Whitby

Regional departure by coach, then enjoy a direct journey on to Scarborough for a two-night stay. You'll arrive in the afternoon so will have plenty of time to enjoy your time in the resort before returning to the hotel for dinner.

Stroll along the beach and enjoy the invigorating sea breeze, or visit the historic Scarborough Castle for breathtaking views and a journey into history. The town's charming shops and cosy eateries make for a delightful spot to enjoy a leisurely walk, or you can admire the vibrant floral displays at Peasholm Park. The bright and welcoming South Bay area is perfect for a peaceful afternoon by the shore.

Join us on our included excursion to explore Whitby, a charming town along the Yorkshire coast. Known for its connections to Dracula, Whitby's picturesque town centre and popular harbour are dominated by the striking ruins of its historic abbey. The town's unique streets are filled with delightful shops and cafés, where you might find a special piece of Whitby Jet as a souvenir.

Next, we’ll visit Goathland, nestled in the heart of the North York Moors. Famous for its role in the TV series 'Heartbeat' and more recently as Hogsmeade in the 'Harry Potter' films, Goathland is a cherished spot that captures the imagination.

We return to Scarborough and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we depart and enjoy our direct journey home.
