Discover Whitby on our included excursion along the Yorkshire coastline. Famed for its associations with Dracula, Whitby's quaint town centre and harbour are overlooked by the dramatic ruins of the beautiful Abbey. Its quirky cobbled streets are lined with shops and cafés. Why not pick up a souvenir of the famous Whitby Jet. We continue to call at Goathland in the heart of the North York Moors. Made famous by the TV series Heartbeat and more recently the Harry Potter films as Goathland station is used as 'Hogsmeade' in the films.

Relax in Scarborough, or join our optional excursion to the magnificent cathedral city of York. Step back into the middle ages by visiting "The Shambles" with overhanging timber-framed houses, traditional shopfronts and cobbles streets. York was also the capital of Viking Territory so a visit to the Jovic Viking Centre is an interesting way to spend your free time. But no visit to York is complete without seeing York Minster, one of the largest cathedrals in Northern Europe and also one of the most beautiful gothic cathedrals in the world.
