Join us on a short break to North Yorkshire, based in the seaside town of Scarborough. Step back into a bygone age as we enjoy an included journey on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, taking in the scenery of the wild moors and visiting Goathland. This village has appeared in many TV shows and films such as Downton Abbey, Heartbeat and Harry Potter! We also enjoy a visit to Whitby, allowing you to explore the cobbled streets bursting with independent shops and try the seafood from one of the many sellers.

Regional departure by coach, then enjoy a direct journey to Scarborough for a two-night stay. You'll arrive in the afternoon, so will have plenty of time to enjoy your time in the resort before returning to the hotel for dinner.
Stroll along the beach and enjoy the sea breeze or visit the historic Scarborough Castle for breathtaking views and a journey into history. The town's charming shops and cosy eateries make for a delightful spot to enjoy a leisurely walk, or you can admire the vibrant floral displays at Peasholm Park. Bright and welcoming South Bay is perfect for a peaceful afternoon by the shore.
Join us on our included excursion this morning on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway from Pickering on this heritage steam railway, taking in the stunning scenery. We depart at Goathland, nestled in the heart of the North York Moors. Famous for its role in the TV series Heartbeat, and more recently as 'Hogsmeade' in the Harry Potter films, Goathland is a cherished spot that captures the imagination.
Our coach then collects us for an afternoon in Whitby. This charming seaside town, known for its connections to Dracula, has a picturesque town centre and popular harbour, which is dominated by the striking ruins of its historic abbey. The town's unique streets are filled with delightful shops and cafés, where you might find a special piece of Whitby Jet as a souvenir.
We return to Scarborough in the late afternoon and enjoy dinner at the hotel.
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we depart and enjoy our direct journey home.
Please note, that due to the short duration of the tour, a smaller piece of luggage per passenger should be taken as you will be required to carry your own luggage to and from the hotel reception. Your driver will be responsible for moving your luggage to the hotel reception on arrival and from the hotel reception on departure.
