Beneath the beautiful castle ruins of the Abbey, this bustling harbour town is a delight to explore - perhaps take the 199 Steps up to the abbey to admire the view, enjoy some of the best fish and chips in the world at the Magpie Café, or perhaps shop for some famous Whitby Jet jewellery!

We preferred whitby has Scarborough was a bit run down not much to do hotel food and staff were brilliant

Good holiday and quality of hotel and excursions. Let down by Lymn services interchange which cannot cope with the crowds especially when it is pouring with rain
