Salou and Barcelona All-Inclusive by Express Coach

We arrive in Salou late morning and have time to settle into our hotel for our first night in resort.

The cosmopolitan town of Sitges can be found just a short drive from Barcelona. We’ll enjoy a short trip to this wonderful resort, where we’ll be able to explore its sandy beaches, or discover its bustling town centre. Sample some of the Sitges’ local cuisine at one of its restaurants, or enjoy some shopping at its many shops and boutiques.

Day at leisure in resort or join an optional excursion to Tarragona.

We make our way to Tarragona today, where we’ll find a number of historical sites, including churches from several different periods and a well preserved Roman colosseum. The town itself has the usual Spanish assortment of plazas, dotted with cafes and tapas bars.

Enjoy the atmosphere of Cambrils’ Old Town, where you can sample local products and browse the many wares found here. There are two markets to discover - a general market, selling food and other wares, and an antiques market, where shoppers can purchase all manner of interesting items.

The Catalan capital, Barcelona, is a fantastic city to explore at leisure, with its wonderful architecture and bustling atmosphere.

Admire Antoni Gaudi’s incredible Modernist creations, including the as-yet-unfinished Sagrada Familia, and spend time shopping along the famous Las Ramblas boulevard. This mesmerising city is known for its excellent attractions as much for its delicious cuisine, so be sure to sample some of the local food during our time here.

Reus is known for its wonderful selection of wines, as well as for being the birth-place of Antoni Gaudi, whose architectural masterpieces transformed the city of Barcelona. Admire Reus’ modernist architecture, visit the Gaudi Centre, and explore the town’s picturesque market square.

As our holiday draws to a close, we say goodbye to Salou and will travel back towards the UK.
