Good trip to christmas markets A trip to do every two or three years. Jaeger house in Langenau visited many times and is always a happy place to be, very centralised for train and bus travel if you want to do your own thing.

The feeder coaches, hotels and food were very good our Shearings tour coach was very basic & cramped and we are not big people others suffered a lot more. little space no seatback nets for magazines etc. heater would not work for first 45 minutes of each trip the coach staff appeared to have little information about anything. the destinations were good the coach was not good enough to be a school bus.

Hotels used were good and transfer coaches comfortable. Experience at Stop 24 going down was horrendous. Everyone appeared to land at the same time and the amount of people in the building queuing for toilets and waiting to be boarded was dangerous. This wasn’t a problem going back.

The holiday was all right. But it was a contractors coach painted up in Shearings colours. The coach crew worked for the contractor and one of the coach crew wore a Shearings uniform. A lot of the information the coach crew got from Shearings was out of date. When we arrived at our destination the crew were told something different than what Shearings had told them. I. E. we were told that we would have to get a tram from the drop off point to the Christmas market. When we got to the drop off point the coach was escorted to a drop off point nearer to the Christmas market and no need to get a tram. The coach crew told us about the places we visited. If you are intrested the coach crew were Micheal and Alan. Some of the overnight hotels take a lot to be desired
