Regional departure by coach, then a direct journey towards London.
We will stop at Royal Windsor this afternoon to give you some free time to explore. Stroll through the charming, cobbled streets and immerse yourself in the heritage of Britain’s royal past or enjoy the riverside setting along the River Thames. Browse the independent shops and cafés and enjoy a drink in one of Windsor's traditional pubs or riverside restaurants.
We then journey to our hotel for a two-night stay. Dinner this evening will be served in the restaurant.
Following breakfast, we head to Epsom for the greatest flat race in the world – the Betfred Derby! We include entrance to the Grandstand Enclosure.
Catch every heart-stopping moment of the Betfred Derby Festival from the Grandstand Enclosure, where you'll have unrivalled views of the finish line, with access to the Parade Ring and Galileo's presents O Beach – a stunning marquee designed for all weathers.
You will have access to a variety of food and drink outlets, along with betting facilities if you wish to have a flutter on your chosen horse.
Following an exciting race day experience, we return to our hotel for dinner.
We depart this morning, enjoying an en route visit to the historic city of Oxford.
Home to the prestigious University of Oxford and celebrated as the "City of Dreaming Spires", Oxford combines stunning architecture with charming streets lined with honey-coloured stone buildings. You will have free time to explore, so why not visit one of the historic colleges, the Bodleian Library or the Ashmolean Museum?
We then continue our journey home.
