The picturesque town of Berkeley is perfectly placed for exploring the Cotswolds, and the Prince of Wales Hotel occupies a superb position on the edge of the town. After a day of sightseeing, the hotel provides the perfect retreat, with a cosy atmosphere, delicious food, local ales and friendly, attentive service. You’ll be guaranteed a home away from home in this beautiful area, renowned for its rolling hills and golden stone.

4 Day Itinerary

  • Day 1: Travel to Your Hotel

    Make your own way to your hotel, where you will enjoy a comfortable three-night stay.

    Car Parking: Each self-drive booking automatically includes one car parking space, which the hotel will reserve for you before arrival. There is currently no fee for parking in the hotel’s car park when staying overnight.

    Included meals: Dinner

  • Days 2 & 3: Berkeley

    Spend two days independently exploring the area in and around Berkeley.

    From the hotel, it’s an easy drive to the pretty villages of Bourton-on- the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold, as well as the cities of Cheltenham, Gloucester, Bristol and Bath. Also nearby, you’ll find Berkeley Castle and Royal Forest of Dean Railway and Museum.

    Included meals: Breakfast, Dinner

  • Day 4: Return Home

    After breakfast, check out of your hotel and make your own way home.

Selected rooms at the hotel are dog-friendly. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per room at a charge of £12 per night, and this should be added to your booking before travel. 
Dogs are not permitted to join you in the restaurant, bar or public areas of the hotel. 
If you have an allergy to dogs, please do not worry as many of the hotel bedrooms are dog-free, but do advise us at the time of booking if you have a severe allergy.
