One of Scotland’s most beautiful and vibrant destinations to visit, Pitlochry caters for visitors all year round. Nestled at the foot of the Cairngorms among majestic pine forests, with superb loch scenery to be enjoyed across the nearby countryside, there are plenty of gentle walking trails and challenging hikes to be enjoyed. Other highlights include magnificent Blair Castle, the breathtaking vistas at Ben Vrackie – also known as Queen’s View – and Edradour Distillery, believed to be the smallest distillery in Scotland, where you can sample some of the finest local tipples. Golf, fishing and cycling are also popular activities for the area, with many eateries and traditional Scottish pubs to choose from to refuel at the end of the day.

Very good value, 3 nights dbb £200 per person, meals excellent, good choices and decent sized portions, only one issue, you had to request a fried egg at breakfast? Meant waiting before going to get the rest of your breakfast and staff spent more time messing with fried eggs than clearing tables and keeping buffet topped up,crazy idea. Loads of parking and enjoyed our swims in the indoor pool.
