Recently returned from a 4 day stay. Pitlochry Hydro continues to provide excellent value for money. Janis and the team provide attentive service at meal times. It is an older property, but ongoing improvements are evident- since my last visit, 2 Carimali coffee machines have been installed in the dining room to enhance the breakfast experience. It would be good if reception staff wore matching uniforms- like the dining room and bar staff. Pitlochry is a good base to explore Perthshire, and the Hydro is a good place to stay.

Great value for money, lovely atmosphere, pleasant staff, nice room on first floor with walk in shower Great buffet breakfast, evening meal was well presented but was a bit bland for my liking Situated up quite a steep hill so may be a problem for some Overall very good

Old creaky floors with insufficient sound proofing between rooms, but warm communal areas throughout, with a lift to all floors, and good breakfast and evening meals, with helpful staff, plus a clean swimming pool, jacuzzi, minigym, and sauna.
